In December 2004, Jason Dyches found himself at a crossroads. The local HVAC contractor where he had spent over 12 years building his skills suddenly shut its doors. With a young family and a second child on the way, most people would have scrambled for the nearest job listing. Jason took a different path.

He sat down at his kitchen desk, picked up his cell phone, and started calling the clients who already knew him by name. Years of showing up on time, doing the job right, and treating people like neighbors had given him something no company closing could take away: a reputation. That reputation became the foundation of J.D. Heating & Air, Inc.

The work ethic that drives Jason today came from watching his grandmother. She raised him with a simple belief: you give people your best, every single time, and you stand behind your word. Those values run through every service call the JD team handles, from a routine filter change to a full commercial installation.

Jason grew up right here in Statesboro and has lived here his whole life. Alongside building JD Heating & Air, he taught HVAC certification courses at Ogeechee Technical College and worked at Georgia Southern University maintaining campus HVAC systems until 2018. That commitment to education and excellence carries over to how his team approaches every project.

Behind every successful business is a strong partner, and Jennifer "Jeni" Dyches has been exactly that since the beginning. As CFO, she keeps operations running smoothly, manages the day-to-day organization, and makes sure every customer interaction reflects the care the Dyches family is known for. Together, Jason and Jennifer have grown a kitchen table startup into one of Southeast Georgia's most trusted HVAC companies.
